Law Offices of Sheila C. HarringtonAttorneys Sheila Harrington and Maureen Booth are dedicated to serving their clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, and feel that the best way to help their clients is by communicating with them in an open, down-to-earth manner, creating a partnership focused not just on finding solutions for their legal problems, but on improving their quality of life overall. Attorney Sheila C. Harrington has had a successful general law practice in the Groton area for several years, assisting people with divorce, child support modification, contempt actions, and other family law matters. She has also represented numerous plaintiffs in personal injury cases, and knows how to effectively negotiate with insurance companies, having worked for The Travelers Insurance Company prior to starting her own practice. She also has extensive experience in residential real estate transactions, representing mortgage lenders, buyers and sellers at all stages of the home-buying process. Sheila is a Groton resident, and she and her family are active in the community. Attorney Maureen E. Booth of Dunstable is an associate at the Law Offices of Sheila C. Harrington. Ms. Booth has lived in Dunstable since 2001, and is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated cum laude from New England School of Law in May, 2004. She juggles her job as mother of three young sons with her law practice, but says she enjoys multi-tasking and the personal fulfillment she gets by ‘wearing several hats’. Maureen focuses her practice in family law, and comes well prepared with years of experience as a litigation paralegal. In addition to family law, Maureen practices in employment discrimination and other general practice matters. Both Sheila and Maureen are active in their local communities. Sheila Harrington serves on the boards of directors of several area organizations, including the Lowell Wish Project, Groton Historic Districts Commission, and the Village Theatre Project. Maureen Booth has volunteered in the past and continues to support the Alternative House Battered Women's Shelter in Lowell, MA. As the mother of three boys, she is active in Cub Scouts and as well as supporting her sons' sports aspirations!
